Love the misty flow into the abyss. This scene inspires stories that sailors would have had nightmares about in centuries past. Superstition so it were.

Great image Mike, I like the sense of mystery created by the long exposure, how long was it?

Has a mystic quality to it. Do wish for a bit more detail in the hot spot in the URH. Thanks for sharing.

Lovely sky. It's warmth contrasts so well with the ghostly feeling created by the surf crashing over the rocks.

Very dramatic and even a little scary. Like the sky and the flowing mist; appears to be a slow shutter speed. Nicely composed with the foreground rocks included.

Looks like a maelstrom Mike. Love the slow shutter speed to capture the wave actions and allow enough light to make the shot.

Beautiful scene and very well composed, Mike! Great colors and lighting in this image too. One thing I wish is that the abyss was a bit more visible. Your slow speed creates a nice atmosphere but the flowing spray also blurs a good view of looking down into the abyss. I guess it depends how important that view is to your image. Irregardless, this is an outstanding image in many ways.
