Edge of the shore, start of the great lake. Always was a favorite place.

Ahhh, the Ektachrome blues were always so nice. Looks like a wonderfully peaceful spot.

Great colors and comp, John. I think the horizon almost midway works for this image because both above and below elements have about equal interest. As Mark, mentioned the blue color is very nice. Are the rocks white from bird droppings or from the elements in the rocks? Maybe a combination of the two. Does look like a peaceful spot to sit and contemplate life.

The water's edge is an attractive place. I have never visited a Great Lake. Rhetorical question: How large would a lake have to be to become tidal? Also, if this was salt, these rocks would be covered with barnacles, mussels and starfish. Mother nature has been laying down on the job. Quite cyan. Your clouds are really nice and make the image.
