Campanula Rotundifolia. One of my favorites has just opened up. It looks incredible with the sun shining through it and it blooms from now into October and even November in some years.

5Diii, 180mm f3.5 macro, f32, 1/20, Av mode with -2/3 compensation, iso 640. Brought the highlights down a bit in ACR. Processed in CS6 and cropped from the sides to 14.9 MP. Taken this morning at 6:35 am on our local prairie preserve.

Your comments and criticisms are always appreciated.

Thanks for looking,

No criticism from me, Dennis. Beautiful photo. Color of the flower is great, and the dew drops really add to the mood.

Really like the color of the flower against the dark bg, also like the water drops. Beautifully presented, good eye Dennis.

Marvellous light and detail, Dennis, and, in my view, a perfectly balanced composition on a nicely graded background.

Great shot Dennis. I like the background, the comp and the water drops, especially on the spider webs.

Wonderful isolation of the fresh, dewy flower, Dennis. Beautiful blue.

Great details and really nice work with the light Dennis. Not sure what I think about the other stem on the left - but it is not a shot killer for me.

Dennis - Like it exactly as presented. Directional soft light extremely well used to make the Dew stand out. Background really helps the bloom stand out. No suggestions or observations from me.

Nice light on the flower, which glistens beautifully covered with the dew, Dennis. Well composed to get the entire flower in detail against the neutral bg.

Beautiful look at a lovely flower. The dew adds some wonderful sparkles. I think your comp. is perfect with the buds especially the one in the corner adding interest and promising more to come.
