Very cool, Albert. A beautiful bloom and I like the dof you used and the other blooms in the bg. I do find the bright orange bg in the UL a bit distracting.

Lovely to see this variety of cornflower, Albert - the petals seem almost like a crown of thorns surrounding the centre. Beautifully lit image.

Nicely handled Albert. I tried shooting some of these in my yard recently and was not very successful I like the colors and the details.

Albert - Nice selective focus on a single bloom of the Cornflower. The bright patch in the background asks for some attention but I am not sure you had much of a choice I reckon.

I like the colors, comp and selected focus, Albert. Very nice. I would crop the very top to eliminate the blown area just to the left of center, or clone that area out.

What an interesting bloom. I do enjoy the OOF bloom included.

Neat look at this amazing flower. Separating this single bloom from all the others looks like a real challenge that you handled well.

The bloom is really interesting and unique and your composition separated it well from the others. The only thing that bothers me is the brighter orange area above and to the left of the bloom. Maybe it could be darkened a little?
