A couple of weeks ago I made a trip to the Twannbach Gorge. It's a small gorge near Bienne,Switzerland in the Jura Mountains. It had been raining the days before so there was plenty of water. I was there early morning before sunrise and hiked through the gorge to this place in the dark with a headlamp.

I like this image a lot Bill. The greens are lush and pleasing and the water flow is captured very well even the small tracings in the outflow. Well done! Chet

I like this a lot, but I am wondering what you are looking for in posting it. Do you have any questions or concerns about it, or are you completely happy with it as it is and merely sharing it with us?

I would have a few comments to make, but before I make them, I just want to be sure where you are coming from in posting this image. I'll be interested in your reply.

John, I am very pleased how this turned out. This is excatly how I want to have it,...with it lush greens and the colors. But of course I am interested to hear other photographers opinion and thoughts. There are always different point of views, different opinions and there's always something to learn.

Gorgeous image. I find the water a bit cyan for my taste, but that is very much a personal preference. This is a beauty, so lush and rich.

This is beautiful, Bill, and I really enjoy looking at your larger version here. You sure captured the wonderfully quiet mood of this beautiful place. Maybe a touch to much cyan in the water for my taste too, but still such an appealing scene just as it is.

Wonderful image Bill. Really nice greens in this and the water leads you nicely through the image. It looks surprisingly like the forests here on Vancouver Island, Very nice job on this.

I really like the mood you have created in this image. The colors and composition work really well and the blur of the water is just right.

Great shot, looks like a nice place to explore. Processing wise, I may use the color balance to slide down the green and cyan a hair. Nicely done.

Another beautifully crafted image, Bill. The greens are simply fantastic and the placement of the water draws me deep into the scene. My only suggestion would be to tone down the cyan in the water just a bit.

Well composed, my only critique would be backing off the cyan in the water a bit

Bill - Lush indeed! The water seems strong on the cyans for me. Compared to the right half, the left corner seems pretty empty, though I see you tried to create added interest with the water motion. Various crops could rectify this, but if you like the comp as is mabe just a color adjustment.

Bill,

Gorgeous image and scene indeed; lush with a very nice flowing composition. Agree with others about the cyan in the water - a little heavy.
