D600... 150mm f/9 1/200 sec. iso 500 ev +0.3 2 sec delay release.. mirror up .. large crop.

I liked the light behind these white hanging begonias in the green house. they were always swaying in the breese. making it difficult to capture. this high key image is all about color and light please see repost to see darkened left UC. comments appreciated

Love the yellow glow, Albert, and the light and shade across the image. The upper L corner seems a bit hot on my monitor, but that's a minor nit. Nice experiment !!

Albert: Can't remember the last time I shot a begonia but I think I better go look for some. Marvelous lighting for that center glow. Really well done.>=))>

Agree with Ian on the ULC. I would be tempted to just crop out that corner and darken any remaining hot area. Other than that,, this is a sweet soft image. I like how the petals and light flow from LLC to URC.

The yellow springs out among the soft white... grabs the viewer. I like the light 'within'.

You handled the whites well and the backlighting makes the image sing. Wonderfully handled.

Albert:

A creative use of backlighting. May be a crop from the left to exclude the white bg may be better than blurring the ULC?

Albert, this back lit image is splendid. Yes, the white begonias have this yellow glow inside their petals. Beautiful!
