Taken at Malibu Beach California with my Nikon D300 18-200 mm zoom lens. 1/125 Sec. @ 3.5 Focal length 18 mm. To me it's an interesting composition. I like it, but, what do you think? Maybe to dark? I like the shapes and different colors.

Interesting composition, the stones has very nice forms but in my opinion needs a boost of color

I like the shapes of all of the rocks. I agree that it needs a boost and I think I would get rid of about half the sky to put more of the focus on the rocks which are really the focus of the image.

I didn't realize that my photo uploaded completely different than I wished. Let's try again! It is still not uploading correctly! The stones have a lot of color. I don't know what is going wrong! Sorry!

OK, this is the last time I am trying this! Let's see if it's right! I guess converting it to a Jpeg really takes away the colors. Usually I don't have this problem. I checked my settings in Photo Shop, all seems to be good, but I still get very unsaturated colors with this shot. Can you help me?

William,

Make sure that you convert your color profile for the image to sRGB before uploading it. If you use a wide gamut color space like Adobe RGB or larer like ProPhoto RGB then when you upload with those spaces they will get clipped when presented in sRGB and you will lose color.
