Lemon Flower

Thought I would do a little more than a documentary shot of a simple but elegant lemon flower. The petals are quite thick and the insides of the flower are bright white. The buds however are a mix of white and purple. The flower retains that color on the outside and that is the OOF purple in the background.

Your comments and suggestions, both good and bad, are welcome.

Thanks,

Sanjay

Nice composition, Sanjay. I do find myself wishing for more dof in the primary subject.

Hi Sanjay, I like your composition here – a main flower and an OOF flower echo. The soft purple is nice. I would love to have more room on the top and at the bottom.

Lovely whites and nice composition, Sanjay - though, like Dennis, I personally could wish for more in sharper focus.
