Not sure if this will survive in avian; it may be moved to man and nature because of the orange in the frame.

Seems that the woodpeckers are more interested in the oranges than the orioles. I thought I'd take advantage of a rainy day and try to get something different. Maybe water drops on feathers etc. That didn't work out too well, but at least there weren't hard shadows.

Super details on your RBWP. A little close at the tail. I like the perch leading into the frame. Sharon

Jerry the detail and exposure on the bird is spot on but I must say the Orange does pull my eye away from the excellent bird.

Although it was the brightness of the orange that first drew my attention to the photo thumbnail, when viewed as a larger image the orange does distract from a beautiful bird beautifully photographed. The detail and colour on your woodie is superb.

Very nice capture of the bird with great details. The orange is a bit distraction, but no big deal. Well done ! :wavey:

The soft light really brings out the colors Jerry and the exposure is right on, a very sharp image well presented. The orange is a little loud but a nice capture. :toast:

Thanks for the comments. Yep, the orange looks a little neuclear. I'll have to try to tone that down a bit.

I appreciate the input.
