Tree Blossom Time + REPOST

I think it's Cherry? Anyway, this is a look up into a tree, where i wanted to preserve that look while singling out the group of blossoms for a subject. I wonder, too busy, do you think?

After blending some specular highlights in the bg with Cs5, this is my first processing with NIK: ColorEfex low key; Viveza; sharpener pro. Would appreciate comments/ suggestions on how it turned out. Nice change from Ps, that's for sure, but lots to learn!

GH3, Lumix G Varo 35-100 @ 100; tripod, cpl; f9, 1/20, -0.33EV.

Thanks everyone.

I would cut about a fifth of the frame off of the top...if you do that, it moves from being too busy to delightfully colorful. I REALLY like the BG on this and the blooms are lovely! It looks like a beautiful painting!

Beautiful, Catherine. I like the detail in the branch as well as the beauty of the blossoms, but I do think there is more branch than needed in the composition. I think I'd crop down from the ULC to eliminate a good share of it up there.

Catherine. I think that you have done a splendid work both in shooting and editing. I too appreciate the re-post but I must say that I love the original too: a composition more personal, original.
Take care.

I like the nice look at both the bark and the blooms. The repost does a good job of focusing attention on the blooms while still including the added interest of the bark.
