I like the concept. However, it looks tilted quite a bit - is that intentional? Also, there's a bit of haloing around the branch that sticks out into the sky. Eliminating this would improve the photograph, in my opinion.

Thank you for the comments. Basil the background looks tilted but the subject in foreground doesn't. I'll rethink and see if it might be better to have the bgd straight instead. However I don't discern the halo you refer to.

I think this works well as a B&W, Lucy. It looks as if you've done some very light vignetting? I like that. Powerful image.
