Crooked Tree & Landscape
by Hans Kruse
This photo was taken during a photo tour where I was guiding a small group of photographers in the Dolomites in early October 2012. The crooked tree is always a favorite to include in this landscape.
The camera was Canon 1Ds mkIII and Canon 24-70 f/2.8L, ISO 100, 43mm, f/8, 1/200sec on a RRS tripod. Post processing was done from a single RAW file in Lightroom 4.3.

7 commentsGreat image! I like all the different lines converging all over the place, and all the different little images within the image {the fog on the hillside, the clouds over the wonderful mountain peaks, the small building tucked up against the conifers and so on}. Lots to see. I wonder what kind of feel the photo would bring if the tree was absent?
I enjoyed your Photograph Hans....Thanks!
