Taking advantage of the fog for mood, this was a recent mid-morning shot.

Nikon d800e with Zeiss 35mm and polarizer.

'no name' falls... there is a trail and wood-railing along the head of the falls (view large version)...explaining why it fits in Man and Nature. This area is a real treat to see ... with many moods. Looking forward to seeing it in late summer with lazy low water and fall haze in the air.

Excellent. I like the blue-green range of colors. The background diffusing away into the fog is a nice addition to this well composed scene.

This is very beautiful, Ken. The foggy atmosphere is great for the mood and for the punchy colors, and the exposure is perfect.

Ken, I love this shot. Wilderness, fog, the deep green carpet. Some rapids for good measure. This print would sell well. :toast:

Excellent composition, and nice detail in the moving water.

Wonderful image Ken. Love the misty atmosphere, subdued color, and turbulent water.

Beautiful image, I see this as a pano crop (right below the big rock on the left) for me it really drew me into the scene when I blocked that area out on my screen.

I love this image, with the cool, misty atmosphere, moss, leaves and generally fall-like feeling. That water looks cold! Glad you pointed out the railing...I couldn't see it in the smaller photo.

I like the control of dynamic range, the toning, the choice of shutter speed for the close water, and the leading line exiting in the LLC. Very nice.

The colors, lighting, everything here is really really rich. I can see the hand of man here...after you pointed it out  Extremely beautiful scene, looks almost more like a painting!
