I reprocessed this from a couple of years ago because it's my favorite "track" picture even though it's not the best technically.

My grandsons like to follow tracks in the woods behind the house, but not for very long. Fortunately, there are lots of other fun things to do outside, so they like real live Nature at least as much as computer games. I think most kids would be just as excited about being out in the natural world if given opportunities and a some gentle and fun guidance.

Looks like lots of fun! Reminds me of going next door (< 100 yards) and looking at tracks with my daughter when she was 5 - 7. I needed to get back but she wanted to stay. Her response to me was, "You go ahead Daddy, I'll track you home." :biggrin:

Great to see kids engaged in nature! I'm sure you do all you can to encourage your grandsons to enjoy nature--keep up the good work. :smile: It's a very important role we as nature-loving parents, grandparents, and all adults involved with children can play in these young lives that can so easily get disconnected from nature. The colorful outfits and their engaged faces make this a great image IMO, Wayne!
