Several little birdies left their footprints in the mud...surrounding an ice filled horse hoof-print.

Interesting. The eye goes first straight to the bright ice. There it finds a shape like a bird's footprint. Then all of the smaller prints around it start coming into focus. Seems a tad harsh to me. I wonder how this would look using Photoshop's emboss filter adjusted to look metallic?

My first thought also was that there's a large gull/goose track in the ice and then I noticed the little prints surrounding it. Looks good in b&w.

Neat combo of two kinds of animal tracks. I like the good detail visible in all the little bird tracks; the large hoof print provides an interesting size contrast. The ice filling the track adds a unique element too. Nice find, Lucy.
