A juvenile Yellow-Crowned Night-Heron (Nyctanassa violacea) in a spring shower. Shot at Brazos Bend State Park, Needville, Texas, near Houston. Incredible light that day!

Canon 20D, Canon 100-400mm @ 400mm, BetterBeamer Flash attachment, tripod mounted. ISO 100, 1/60 sec., f/5.6.

Love the head turn, detail, spider webs and falling rain in this shot from right near my backyard Paul. Although it worked out great, no reason not to be shooting this at iso 200 to get more shutter speed. I hope you will contribute by commenting on others work as well.

Thanks all for your comments! Nate, I agree, ISO 200 would have been better, and provided a bit of a guarantee of either sharpness or DOF, but I wonder if the streaks of rain would have been too short or not as obvious. We´ll never know, I guess. But thanks for the comment. That's why I'm here, and I appreciate it.
