I found this fine bird in southern Florida and liked his choice of props. 500mm lens on fuji slide film. Appreciate your comments. Chet

Chet,
This is a great composition with a lot of interest, well done.
I am seeing a real grainy texture in the larger version and if possible I would give a bit more room to the right.

I, too, like the composition and the pose of the bird, especially the head angle and the way I, as a viewer, can connect to the bird via the eye. It does appear very grainy and perhaps it has a bit too much cyan. Not sure in this case, but too much cyan can cause the greens to be darker and the blues to appear over saturated.

I like the reflection a lot here Chet, for my tastes a little more room on the right if you have it and a little bit less on the left.

I like this shot a lot, but I too feel like it needs more room on the right. Well done!

For me this is a story telling shot, with excellent composition, colors of water and the other plants. TFS.
