Been missing for some time now due to some pressing issues that needed attention on the home front and at work. Most of those are behind me now, so hope to be regular.

ND300s, AFS60mm F/2.8 Micronikkor, F/5.6, 1/250 Sec, Diffuser and Handheld.

Would have loved to have more pinkish wash for the entire background.

Terrific abstract....love the soft focus effect with just a hint of sharpness at the sepal/petal junction.
Were you holding a diffuser and the camera at the same time??

Mark : No, The plamp was holding the diffuser. If the question was relating to why I could not use a higher DOF to get the stem also in good focus, then the reason is that it messes up the softness of the petals radiating upwards also.
