Wild Aster in fall

I took this photo in a local field near sunset. I believe this is a "small-flowered white aster". The sun was shining on the flowers and various OOF fall foliage was in the background.

Canon Rebel T1i. 180mm macro lens. F/3.5 for 1/2000 sec. ISO 400. Tripod mounted, natural lighting.

End of the season flowers. Doesn't seem that long ago. Nice subject and your BG is really yummy. Very warm and pleasant.

Whatever be the name of this flower, the frame is very beautiful, despite the the flower being white, its fantastic. You placement of the bunch against the brown is a good decision too ..well done ..liked this one.

Carolyn - Nice isolation and the deep colors in the background really help the stem holding the flowers stand out. Light seems a bit harsh but well controlled.
