Rainy day Rose Bouquet

I took this late this summer early in the morning after a light rain. There was still a light breeze making stacking virtually impossible, so this is a single image. Taken at Fellows Riverside Gardens. D700, 180 macro, ext. tube, tripod, 1/60, iso 400, tripod. Image reversed 180 degrees to put the roses in the raindrops right side up. Comments, questions, and suggestions welcome.

Beautiful! Love the background coming through the edge droplets and the color combo is excellent.

Scott, this is terrific - I've been trying for several years to get an image like this, with the tiny reflections, and have not succeeded.

Scott: I love discovering little scenes like this with drops refracting something neat behind them. I like this as is but I also like the mind bending that comes from presenting the refractions upside down and backwards the way they look for real. Good photography. >=))>

Gorgeous image. Beautifully done. When I read that the image had been reversed to put roses in the reflections right side up, I thought I would flip the screen to see how it would look. Easily done, I'm using an iPad. Notwithstanding the orientation of the reflections, I like the flow of light better in the "as posted" than the "as captured". Thanks for the idea.

Wow, I missed this. What a terrific row or well focused refractions. Great job! As a stacker, I wonder how this would look if the green leaf was completely sharp.

Like this 'clash' of color and the tiny roses in each of the raindrops.
Good call on the 180 flip :jump:
Very nice :wavey:
