Looking out into of the West fjords of Iceland... the sunset felt a bit as though the devil was raising hell somewhere behind the mountains...

Love the water with that folded flow look. The sky is pretty special, too but it's intense warmth seems at odds with the cooler tones in the rest of the image. At least for me. It's a lovely scene.

Surprised there aren't more comments here Karsten. I really like the comp and your choice in shutter speed. The "V" shape of the water makes this one stand out to me. I assume its a long shutter speed that is making that patch of green in the middle soft? If I had any suggestion, it would be to desaturate some of the blues in the distance. Nice job.

I love this comp -- very nice! The colors and/or contrast seem a bit off though, can't put my finger on it.

Thanks, folks.
Here is a rework with desaturated blues, I'd be curious to hear if this adresses the colour problems several of you have mentioned
@Navin: thanks very much for pointing this out. :wavey: and yes, the soft mg grass is due to the long exposure, well spotted

Great colors and comp here Karsten. I definitely prefer the desaturated blues in the repost. The reflected light on the lake is a nice touch.

Wonderful comp. Really like water waves. Second one got the distant mountains righter.
