After Mount Hood receives its first coating of snow, autumn is still in full swing at the lower-elevation Trillium Lake.

Your post is as good as always. I like the transition on the sky. I might have to take another road trip. Did Dave move up to Portland?

While not as compelling as your other 'Twilight' series from this place, this is still quite beautiful. I especially like the luminosity of the foreground, and the reflection is perfect.

Hey, Alex! You work as always on top level ! Only I missing so much: notes/comments how have you done it ? :-)
From my eye , it looks excellent ! As a night landscape it looks very interesting to me , stars, mist, water reflection, mountains... well composed and well exposed capture...

Signature Alex right here. I like the subtle autumn colors in the foreground. Can't wait for the new moon to work on some night photography myself. Very nice, Alex.

Another in a fine portfolio of star shots you've posted. I especially like the star reflections in the lake!
