This is a more intimate shot of the same orchid as "Blushing". I kept the whites a little bit darker to show the petal shapes.
Would this work better as a vertical with more space at the top?

Love the soft blush of the magentas especially in this, Mark, as well as the overall high key feel. Possibly, yes, a vertical comp could work, but I also wonder about a straightening over to the L to give a more pronounced sweep to the stem ?

Mark - It might work with more space removed from the left and right but I don't it will help adding much more to the top. Another lovely take in the Orchid series.
I am seeing some faint projections on the left and right petals of the bottom most orchid. (8.30 position on left and 2.00 position on the right). I am not sure they need to be there ???

Excellent suggestions.
I cloned out the background petals, rotated a few degrees CCW, and lightened the stem near the top. I also gave the petal/stem edges a tiny blur - they looked over-sharpened.
Subtle changes make all the difference in the world.
Thanks for helping me refine these images. That's what NPN is all about.

I love the soft hi-key nature you've captured.
Well done.

Mark:
Your hkey orchid series has been outstanding; so much so that I went out and bought some orchids and did some hkey images on the weekend. Will post after I have the time to process them.
Like this one a lot. The softness works well with the hkey bg.
