Hi all.

I took this photo on 10/11/12. Probably one of the last dahlia photos that I will get this year. We had a great run with the dahlias - I cannot complain at all.

I have a few different versions of this one that I might post.

Any and all thoughts appreciated.

Nathan

No nits from me - exquisite colours, nice POV and just enough detail.

I really like the softness to it

Superb handling of the soft and sharp contrasts, with lovely colouring, Nathan ! Not quite sure about the overall comp but equally unsure about how it might be altered - a straightening over to the L possibly ? Whatever, this is very beautiful.

Nathan - Nice take on the Dahlia again - something different. Love the wash in the front and the subtle pinkish shapes receding in the background.

I was originally hung onto the symmetry on the frontal petals/structure, so was wondering about that one petal left most at the bottom. I think with that gone, the whole frame works beautifully for me.

A lot of gesture I see in this one, Nathan. Great color, light, comp, and dof! :toast: :toast:

This is a cross between a cram and a ram image. Something different; refreshing and beautiful. You are getting very proficient in the genre. :toast:
