Probably the last cosmos I will have to post this autumn - they are fading fast.

Beautiful, Ian. The background with the dappled light area below the bloom is wonderful. Image overall is up to your high standards.

Ian - Another good one. Gives an impression as if the wind is beginning to blow the outside petals around. May be a touch less exposure for yellow center ?

Love the bokeh surrounding the flower. Isolates it nicely.

Nice! I like the way the slightly soft front petals spread to give me a peek at the very sharp center. There are some subtle lines in the background that echo the line of the petals.

Maybe the best of the series. Pure art and needs to be in a gallery. :toast:

Ian:
One of the stronger image in what has been a fabulous cosmos series. Love the movement of the soft petals and sharp center to anchor the image. Also like the boost of green in the bg just below the bloom. A very beautiful image.

Great, painterly photo Ian. Excellent color and a nice BG. I like it.

I agree with Ram that the exposure could be backed off just a tad.
