I know its just another stream shot, but the Opal Creek wilderness area has become one of my favorite places to hike in, its just beautiful. I love the color of the water in the area. This is also in the PNWNP forum. Thanks for looking and previous comments

Danny, the shapes creating by the flowing waters are great. I find the most appealing feature of the image is the greens in the water. Would have liked to see a bit more detail in the rapidly flowing water.
Best,
Carol

I think I see where Carol is coming from. As I noted in the other post, I like the crystalline water and the sharpness of the rocks. A little less smoothness to the falls would fit in well.

Danny,

I too like the greens in the water and I like the texture/details of the big boulder. But gotta be honest here and say the overall comp isn't doing much for me. I think perhaps you tried to include too much? Or the way the water splits behind the boulder and doesn't rejoin or flow around it? Or maybe it's the loss of texture/detail in the white water. Anyway, nothing really wrong here, just not nearly as strong as some of your recent, more intimate images.
