Taken in the early morning yesterday, may have been a bit late for the real nice light. Your C&C welcomed! (This is the first time in many months, I've had three images in separate galleries at the same time. Good to get out a bit.)

I like this as an example of textures and patterns, but better light/contrast would really help!

I really like the patterns, but the light is a little harsh overall. Perhaps reprocessing it a bit warmer with some creative dodging and burning?

Great repetition here. I like the texture it creates and the rolling blanket of green.

Like the repetition here. The light's harsh and I think that you probably tried to reduce the contrast in post by adjusting the highlight/shadow, resulting in a somewhat flat look.

Love the lines and the greens. Light is a bit harsh but might be able to work with this in PS I would think. Nicely done.

Thanks everyone for the comments--actually, the problem is the original was just fine I think reproducing the early morning light. Then I went in Elements and screwed it up, thinking it wouldn't appear light enough for posting here so I played with the levels.

So I'll go back to the original and repost it here a bit. That's where the main problem lies IMO.
