Another from Malheur. It was dry & I was able to get this lying on the ground. He was looking out for hawks flying in the area. Canon 7D, 400mm f5.6 lens. 1/1600 sec (thought he might fly) f5.6, ISO400

Really nice Roger!! My first reaction...laughter :biggrin: :biggrin: Nice composition, and the raised ground and plant to the right of the frame are a nice balance to the owl.
