I like the unusual foot position of this Cattle Egret. Shot taken at the rookery on the campus of the University of Texas Southwest Medical Center in Dallas, Texas.

Canon 7D
Canon 100-400mm

A nice look at this breeding plumage cattle egret Jerry. I like the overall comp and the great red eye. If this were my shot opportunity, I would have sacrificed some DOF for more SS. I do not think you needed f/11 to get the entire bird sharp and more SS would have frozen the lifted foot. The lifted foot is a big part of this shot IMO and it is a bit too blurred from motion for my taste. I might have gone with something like f/6.3 and 1/800s. Given you were shooting a max 400mm those settings would have worked out well I think. Just some suggestions.
