Here's another from my recent trip out to Arizona. Damn I miss that desert light, especially as I sit here in my office and it's pouring outside.

For more about how the image was made check out my latest post on the Dreamscapes Blog

As always thanks for taking a peek and leaving a comment.

Well composed, Kurt, with a strong FG part. You're right about the desert light.
This is lovely.

Boy what a glow that is! I really like the color and comp. Draws the eye in nicely, and those flowers are a great touch.

Very nice composition and colors. I really like how the sky and the rocks are very similar in color.

I like what you've done with what looks like a challenging, but beautiful, foreground. Obviously the sky was sort of taking care of itself, and the resulting combination is great!

Beautiful! Love the composition, especially the flowers in the FG - they provide such a stark contrast to the more harsh looking environment.

Great foreground interest with the sweet daisies next to the cactus. The light is killer and I really like the upward perspective. Nice work! :toast:

Incredible glow that seems to literally envelope all elements of the image. Great composition; the angled stellate pattern of the yuccas works so very well. Gorgeous.

Amazing stuff Kurt. The red glow has an almost eerie feel to it, kind of like the effect from big sand storms we sometimes get over here. Nice comp and processing.

Excellent, Kurt. I really like the lighter agave and how they anchor the bottom of the scene.
