Been away for a while as I have been way busy! Haven't even had much time to drop in so trying to play a bit of catch up! Shot this calla indoors. Multiple light sources used including and Otoscope to light the inside of the calla! Bounced flash and flashlight to paint also used. I just light playing with light!

Roman:
The first thing that struck me about this image is the bright lines along the petals and I thought the light came from within the flower (before I read your commentary). You have done something I planned to do; I had in mind to use fiber optic cable to pipe the light into the flower but an otoscope would be a lot easier. Well done for this creative lighting. The surrounding light looks a little too even and I wonder if a gradient would make the image even more interesting? Just thinking aloud so not really sure till I see it.
Wonderful overall effect :toast:

BTW there is a dust spot just about the right edge of the bloom in the larger version (this is from someone who posted an image full of dust and pollen grain :frown: )

Interesting treatment Roman. I like the lighting from the inside of the calla. Nice one.

Do mercy, this is pretty! The lighting certainly does make this shot for you, Roman. I think I agree with Gary on a gradient for the surrounding light, but only enough to tease.

Holy cow!

At first glance I thought you put a light inside the flower, but who on earth does that? < slap to forehead > Why, YOU do, of course!

Just standing here with my mouth hanging open and staring at the amazing result.
