Prairie Golden Banner (Thermopsis rhombifolia)
Wyoming Big Sagebrush (Artemisia tridentata)

Still working through the wildflower shots from last summer. I like the natural setting for these images and how various plants team up together to bring us beauty in the natural world. I usually have trouble with properly exposing yellows (not sure why that is) but I think I handled it okay in this case. If I'm wrong, please let me know. Thanks for looking

Nancy:
Like the environmental shot. Exposure looks fine. Would be great if there was a nice mountain range in the distance.

I think this is a lovely image, Nancy. The yellows look fine to me - they seem to have a slightly subdued tone ( which I like very much ) due to the cloudy day, so they help capture the scene beautifully.

An excellent shot, well exposed. Your yellows look solid, if a little dark on my monitor.

I can feel a nice wind whooshing from behind you!
