We finally got some ice on our creek! It was great to be outside shooting again even if it was cold. I love the variety of designs to be found in ice.

Canon Rebel T1i. 90mm macro lens. F/16 for 1/8 sec. ISO 100.

(Sorry to break up the fly theme. )

No problem, Carolyn. Because it's January, will make allowances on the theme. I really like ice abstracts, and this one is excellent. For some reason, I can't get these images around here. I think it's lack of oxygen in the water. This image is very clear and crisp with a wonderful abstract design. :toast:

Very cool natural abstract! Kind of looks like jelly fish floating.

Very good eye to find this arrangement of different-sized bubbles and lines. The white balance is nice, conveying the cold without looking artificially blue.

Carolyn: Ice in my part of the world is found in glasses . I love ice patterns because they are so unique and can't be repeated. This is very well seen IMO and a superb capture. Well done.>=))>
