Hi Flora lovers! Its been a while since I posted a photo on NPN. I promise to be more active on this great site in 2012! This image is made last spring, I picked one of the Anenomes in a field with thousands of these delicate little flowers. Can't wait for spring to come this year. :wavey:

D300, Sigma105, 1/400, F5.6, tripod, cropped a bit for comp.

Ellen: Wonderful subject and excellent whites. A touch more sharpness in the center would suit me better but this looks good as is. Well done.>=))>

Great POV and comp on this delicate flower. Would look nice with more of the BG a greenish color rather than brown but also great as is. This has great beauty in its simplicity, Ellen.

I like the image. Good pov and dof. The whites are handled very nicely and the flower stands out nicely from the background.

Ellen:
I like the simplicity of this composition and the perfect placement in the frame. The bg is beautiful. Would prefer the focus to be on the anthers rather than on one of the petals.
