Morris, an intriguing image and a nice change for this forum.
Fcuk'n-A I'm diggin' the ghostly nature of this bad boy.
I'm 50/50 on a slight crop to the right side.
Either way, well done.

Terrific! Wonderful black and white.
With regard to Matt's comment, I see no need for a crop - don't want to crowd the curvacious nonconformist.
I've tried from time to time to make a good tree bole photo, without good result. I do envy you this one.

Morris, This is really cool, I love it! Very unique. Just my 2 cents but I might shave a little off the right side.

This is one of the most effective black and white conversions I've seen in a long time Morris! I agree about the right hand crop for balance, but this is just fine as is. Very well done, I wish I could see this large!

What a fantastic comp Morris, and I'm digging the infrared looking B&W. I like as is, uncropped...

Goos stuff Morris! That different tree on the right adds a lot of story to this image. I also like your processing. The stark contrast suits the scene very well.

Morris, your image has a kind of abstract character for me together with an amazing three-dimensional appearance. The two curved trunks at the right add an interesting sense of movement like dancers to my eye, while the steady ones at the left anchore the scene well to me. A really creative composition in my opinion, and perfect processing.

This is great. The aspens stand out extrememly well against the dark background, and the youngster dancing on the end adds plenty of character.

I think this is my new favorite of yours Morris. The composition is terrific with the combination of the thick trunks and lacy branches along with the white trunks and negative space in the background. It doesn't get much better than this.
