Fall storm

Shot this on Saturday during the big snowstorm here in PA. Unique to see snow here with all the leaves still on the trees.

C&C appreciated.

Canon 7d, 50mm, f4, 1/200 sec. -2/3 EV. Tripod, cable release. BIG umbrella to keep all the snow off the lens. Adjusted in CS5 camera raw.

Full frame.

Some beautiful color against the white Neven. Hope ya did not loose power like we did in NH. Just starting to come back on after 48 hours.

Love it. This is a prime candidate for a canvas print. I have a few with that abstract feel that I have done just that. Great sense of time to this shot. :toast:

I think the conditions have given this a nice painterly look Neven, colours look great too.

i really like the dreamy winter mood and the subtle colors. Nice! An option might be to crop top and bottom to just above and below the trees. The dark empy foreground is slightly distracting for me and would be little more pleasing for my tastes, but maybe not yours.

Thanks for the comments everyone! I think I'm going to print this one and the canvas print may be a great option. I may end up with a slight crop top and bottom to resize.
