Tow path

This was from a rare Augusta Georgia snow 2 years ago. The Augusta canal was a waterway used to bring cotton and such by tow barges to town, this is the tow path used to pull the boats. The path sits between the canal and Savannah river and is used for biking, running and hiking.

It looks like a wonderful place to walk and ride even in the snow. I really like the limited number of colors in this image. It really places an emphasis on the path for this week's challenge. Very nice!

The snow and ice makes for a fairyland type of scene. Well done!

I agree with Carol's comments about the simple color scheme. Very effective and beautiful. I wonder if it might be a neat black and white image, too!

The snow sticking to the trees is beautiful, even more remarkable for the area. Because I am not sure the muddy road helps the image, I think converting this to B/W has significant merit.

You got to the snowy woods at the right time. This is very inviting. I'd love to wander this path admiring the snow clinging to the branches. The brown of the path adds a lot of interest (and warmth) to the image.
