Ifach

I took this shot last week in the southeast of Spain, in a place near Valencia. There was not much of sky action, but I think the rock in the B/G called Ifach well deserved the shot.

Canon 5D Mark II, 20s @ f22. Polarizer & Singh Ray GND filter.

Thank you for your comments and suggestions!

Hi Jose, I really like this. The long exposure on the water and clouds is perfect. I like the way the my eyes are pulled from the FG rocks across the water to the silhouetted rocks and sky. I am questioning a slight crop off the bottom but certainly no biggy. TFS

Foreground is really nice. It could almost be it's own image.

Superb foreground, and the long exposure on the water produces a very peaceful mood. Beautifully done.

Jose,

Thanks for reposting. I know there have sometimes been issues posting from flickr, hopefully you get the hot link to the image figured out for next time.

I'm really loving the foreground here and the interaction between the interesting rock and texture mixed with the misty, ghostly effects of the water and long exposure. In fact I think you could make work of just that subject matter. But you've also done well integrating it with the bg sea, coast and sky. My only suggestion would be to drop the shadow values of the headlands there to more of a silhouette. Also, minor point if you're printing - clone out the lights. They're tiny, but are like magnets.

thanks for posting and for your comments!
