The creamy textures are gorgeous. Looks like a slight tilt to the left, otherwise I can't find anything to fault. Wonderful.

Nice atmosphere, I like how the rock mimics the shape of the mountain.

Nice comp, and the combination of light and fog is fantastic!
I think the smooth water that looks like fog goes well with that foggy background, but I think I might like this even more if the water looked more like water, but that's just a personal thing. Beautiful image.

Thanks everyone. All the comments are really appreciated. Wayne, I did take more shots at different speeds, so I have the option of adding detail to the fg water.

The light is pure magic. I like Wayne's suggestion or even a crop off of the bottom a touch seems to put a lot of emphasis on the in-focus water and lighted trees. Still, a lot of impact as is. Very well done!

This is really special! Exquisitely composed and processed - grand color and light. Sp very dreamy. I might crop just a tiny bit off the bottom to reduce the negative area there, but that's very minor.

Could I ask you Mr. Raymond what brand of ND filter do you use ? Is it a square filter or a circular one ? and lastly what filter holder is needed for the filter.... can I use any chinese brand filter holder or do I need to buy the same brand as the filter?? Please advice.

Excellent. The dark/light contrast here is really enjoyable. I'm really impressed how the sky/clouds are so textureless, but still offer the perfect compliment to the foreground blurry water. Nicely done all around.

insane light and a dreamlike mood... the total lack of clouds in the sky makes the forest seem to disappear into nowhereland... love it :toast:

Love the water effect. Looks like melted plastic. A great atmosphere adds to the impact and its nice to see the landform in the distance. Very nice shot Raymond.

I like the soft foggy light. The slow ss on the water compliments the foginess above. One could go with a square format from the top also.

Thanks all! The sky was pretty much cloudless. However, the low sun was hitting the fog which was drifting over the lake, hence the blue on the left, and pink on the right. Hussain, I use a B&W 10 stop (also called 3.0) ND filter. It is a round screw-in type, so you don't need a holder if you get the same size filter as your lens diameter. I got a 77mm filter and use an adapter to use it on smaller diameter lenses.

Raymond,

I think this is fantastic - and I'm sorry I missed it earlier. Just a fabulous combination of the ethereal softness of the water in the lower half with the gorgeous glowing warm light of the background. What an incredible combination of elements. I really love this. Congrats for a beautifully crafted image.
