Bob:
Must be one of the best cactus flower I have ever seen. The colors and texture of the petals are just exquisite. I like how you have include the bud as a counterpoint. Also enjoy the sharpness of the T/S lens. :toast:

Pure magic Bob. Great light, comp and color. I can't think of any cactus flower image and few images that I prefer to this. Superb processing as well.

Wow! This is just wonderful, Bob! The flower does have a glow to it; great lighting. Also love the comp, colors, and great details. And it all shows off so beautifully against the black BG.

Beautiful rendition of this cactus. I like the comp also showing the bud and plant, and the lighting is superb. I think I personally would have preferred the cactus base sharp, but that's a subjective thing and certainly not a deal breaker.

Very well crafted image Bob! The yellows contrasted with the cooler colors really sets this off.

This is a beautiful flower. And I like that you included the bud for our inspection. I'd guess you were very tempted to photograph the flower alone and it would make a wonderful view too.

Exceptional lighting, Bob. Looks like the petals are providing it. Striking against the black, also.
