"I will follow you
Follow you wherever you may go
There isn't an ocean too deep
A mountain so high it can keep me away"..Mommy:biggrin:
Here the Mom's getting ready to lead her babes out of the frame.
A moment or two later they were gone.
F/7.1, 1/250th, ISO 640, 1D M3, 300mm f/2.8 around 6:30. Clear & sunny with the subjects in partial shade. Cropped to 7.6MB

Howard, the young does are so cute! They are sticking close to their mom and will surely follow her anywhere. I like your B&W treatment for this photo and the fact that all ears are at attention.

Nice shot, Howard. I agree, b&w works really well here. It's not all very sharp but I find that the degree of sharpness matches the subjects so well that it doesn't matter.

Nice image in B&W!
The overall softness also works really well.
Needs some serious CCW rotation, though!

Steve: My focus is on the near fawn FG, and @ F/7.1 you wouldn't expect the other two animals to be sharp.

Sandy: I was aware of the slight shift RT, for me it added the sense that Mom was getting ready to step & leaning forward, leading her babies away..Which they did a moment after this frame..Also note that the ground slopes slightly up left, adding to the effect. I also wanted to leave room RT for the animals to look into..
But here is another version, 2:3 crop with a slight CCW shift.

Beautiful in black and white Howard, love the tentative look of the fawns and their pose. Very pleasing image to view. Excellent work!
