Dune Sunrise

An explosion of light and color on the dunes at sunrise, Inverness Beach, Cape Breton, Nova Scotia, Canada. The wind blowing through the dune grass makes an incredible sound. Thanks for having a look and for any comments and critiques.

What a wonderful place and a nice photo, too. The red light on the sand and grass is nice. It looks like you stopped the motion in the wind blown grass quite well.
This works just fine the way it is but did you bracket some extra exposures for a darker sky?

Wow! What a sky! I like the comp but the lighting seems a bit uneven (perhaps the reverse grad?). I would darken the sky a little as well as the bottom 1/3 of the shot to get a more even distribution. Otherwise, I think this is a fine photograph!

Eva, this is wonderful composition. I think the upper land (just below the horizon) is slightly dark, and the sky near the setting sun in slightly hot. You sure get some nice skies up there.

Nice shot, Eva. I recognise this spot from some of your previous posts. Love those rolling grasslands. Great sky.. a little hot on the horizon, but still has plenty of impact and great color.
