Color Changer
by Tom Haxby
From last fall in the UP of Michigan on the Hiawatha National Forest. This was the most amazing rainbow that I have ever seen. It lasted for what seemed to be an eternity and and came down all the way into the lake below the trees - on both sides of the rainbow. Nick Bristol can attest to this scene - he was there too.

4 commentsWhat a wonderful rainbow. It's always a thrill to capture one and most certainly over a stand of beautiful autumn color. The only suggestion I have agrees with Eva's comment. I would try to burn down the brights a little. That may even help bring out the colors even more. Great catch.

I agree with Eva and Lon about taking down the brights a bit. Seems like that is just what this needs to me. Anyways a beautiful capture. I didn't get one like this, think I was doing a vert when you might have shot this one. Very nice! Hope we meet up there again.
Good luck on your Alaska trip later this summer. Hope to talk before you go.
