Actually the name of this small beach at Kullaberg in Sweden. Josefinlust in Swedish. Spent the weekend there together with some photo collegues. This shot is at dawn capturing the swell coming in from yesterdys gail.

This would be an interesting moody scene in black and white, but the color added by the rising Sun takes this to a higher level. The dark clouds are the perfect backdrop to this dramatic scene.

I like this quite a bit for the reasons already mentioned, including the color of the sun and the mood, but feel it is too dark overall. I think you could retain the mood and still get away with brightening midtones a bit if you desired. Great water action and lots of interesting features here.
