A couple of commenters on my previous upload thought it might work well with just the lake and reeds. Well, it's lucky I shot this one, then....

I like this, Julian. The colors are very pleasing and this has a nice calming feel that I can enjoy. I also like a comp with the lower part of this cropped off. Maybe about 1/4 or so just above the horizontal stick, but that is just a thought because it is nice as is. Nice work!

Julian, I like the mix of texture and detail, and the play of colors. I might crop off part of the bottom to eliminate a bit of the chaotic stuff.

I pretty much with the other comments concering the bottom part being cropped off. The color and feel of the top part is very nice.

You made yourself some good "luck" there!
I guess I am the dissenter -- I don't mind the bottom at all, but cropping it off would make a more abstract-looking comp. I like the clear realism of this one.

Very nice Julian. I like how the reeds gradually thin out towards the top and are overtaken by the dreamy cloud reflections. I like this one!

This is also very nice, Julian. I like the details and the colors. I agree with the lower part of this cropped off......but it is beautiful as is

I had the same thought as some of the others about the bottom (prior to scanning through the comments). I liked your other shot from this location as well . . . perhaps even a bit more because of the inclusion of an appealing background. This certainly stands on its own though.

Real nice, Julian. Both images work light- and comp-wise.

I love this as is Julian. I think the foreground acts as a good anchor to the scene. The cloud reflection is absolutely beautiful!
