Botallack Mines in Cornwall, UK. I was waiting 3 years to go to this place with hope of good light... arive and... thick mist from the Sea cuting off all lights from sunset! Belive me I try my best! I hope you like it! Finger xross

I actually find the soft diffused light suits this scene very well, and you do have some nice color in the sky that is reflected slightly in the water. Admittedly, I'm also a sucker for very long shutter speeds on seascapes, and in this case the softness in the sea and gentle lines complement the sky and the soft light very nicely. My only issue is with the very bright yellow in the upper right portion of the fg - it looks very unnatural and distracting. Fix that and you have a superb image!

This is very nice Sebastian. I love the water motion captured by the long shutter. I agree with Doug about toning down the yellow area in the middle of the frame. The yellow doesn't seem to flow with the rest of the image. Overall this is superb.

Beautiful light and color Sebastian. I agree with Doug on the bright yellow area on the right edge. The upper portion (almost square crop) would make a fantastic image on its own.

Terrific work. The combination of different colours is really beautiful.

You've got a beauty here, Sebastian. The composition is terrific, the colors and textures are also spot on. Love the sky's colors running through the water.

Awesome scene Sebastian. I don't have any nits here, but personally, I would probably crop it to 4:5 and lose some of the foreground...

Nice shot, I agree with Jesse on the 4:5 crop. The long exposure worked wonders on the water.

Wonderful colours! Perfect exposure time! The foreground draws the eye more to itself than to the background. It's a little bit distracting but it's not a big problem. Very nice image!

Congrats on the WP, great image. I do agree with some of the other comments that a crop of the foreground might improve an already stellar image.

I like this just as it is, particularly the diffuse glow in the sky, although I'm learning to appreciate the eye for detail by many in their commentaries.
I did not spot the buildings until I looked carefully -- presumably they are for the mines. Are these tin mines, as I found out about long ago as a metallurgy student?
