Sunset light over a small farm pond in rural Ohio. I visited family in Ohio last week and was treated with some good light at my aunt and uncle's farm pond in NE Ohio.

Nikon D7000, 12-24 Nikkor dx, polarizer
1/3 sec at f/22, ISO 100, single exposure

Gorgeous reflection and color Scott. Great sun star and a wonderfully peaceful mood. The silhouettes in the mid ground and lrh corner add a lot to the scene.

Beautiful, Scott! Really beautiful. Clouds, colouds, the tiny bit of grass in the FG...all is ab stunning. Not much critique from me here Scott...thought perhaps the only tiny nik is that white something that looks like water tank in between the houses. I think I would darken it. Though that would be purely subjective.
I Really like your capture Scott. Reflections are currently my obsession and your is really stunning!

Here is another image for comparison. The only notable difference is the cloud formation.

Nice cloud work, Scott. That sun star doesn't hurt, either. I agree about the white tank or whatever. I'd darken it, but lovely image.

This is a beautiful shot, Scott. Wonderful reflections and I think the foreground grass is a great touch to set this off even more. Very well done. Your aunt and uncle have a wonderful place to visit!

What an amazing sky. The sunburst is great as are the FG grasses. Looks like it could use a slight clockwise tilt and a little darkening on the water tank as others have mentioned. Nice work.

Dramatic ! Love it all the way. Beautiful colours, beautiful sky and its reflections.
And simply loved those blades of grass rising above water surface in FG.

Wonderful capture. Gorgeous sky, great reflection and that crisp grass in the FG add a lot. I like the first post better because of we see more of the sun star.
