This is a great capture, Karen. A pleasure to view. I have kestrels around but can never get a photo of one. Great pose and excellent detail. Nice diagonal with the perch. :toast:

Always a tough subject to get close to, from my experience. Very nice, Karen. I really like the detail and texture in the head.

Well the one click worked out very well. The UK kestrel seem to have a different color scheme than the ones over her in the US. I like the detail, perch and sharpness on the larger image, nice job in getting this, way to go.

Excellent capture of a shy subject, Karen. I really like the light and simple composition of this image. Nice regal pose - great to get it on a natural perch. :toast:

A great Kestral image and on a nice branch makes it sooo much better than a high wire. I too like the diagonal perch
