Design: points and lines

The little violet is a modest flower, par excellence. Its designs are seldom appreciated as they deserve. Here it draws three points in the centre, a diagonal line running away from the right low angle and other two sinous symmetric lines.

D700, Nikkor 200mm. macro - f/22 and ISO 400

Thanks for your always appreciated opinions and advices.

Fabulous, Gigi ! You've described it so well yourself, I can only add that the rhythms and colours in this are electric. Can't imagine a finer violet abstract.

Beautiful - Nice DOF and perfefct perspective for something "different".
I agree that pansies are greatly under-rated - one of my favorite flowers!

Gigi,
beautiful explosion of colors surrounded by black. The lines draws my eyes to the center of this elegant flower.
Great pov and comp. :toast: :wavey:

Great use of lines! And those two little water droplets add a nice touch. Good work!

Terrific and novel version of an often seen flower! If you hadn't of described it, I'd have never figured this for a violet. I sure would have liked to see a bigger version to look at the flower's center in more detail.

This makes me think of a tear in the fabric of space Gigi. Exceptional image for my tastes. I even like the little bit of red in the viewer's lower left corner.

Gigi: A common flower perhaps but an uncommon image. Wonderful graphics and a really bold presentation. >=))>
