OK, this makes an even dozen iris shots so I think I'll quit. I hope some of you gained a small appreciation for how a good subject can be worked for many different compositions and images. Thanks for your comments on this one and the previous 11. >=))>

Ahhhh, giving us the iris tongue treatment. This is a great composition. I especially like the very light blues in the upper petals. I'm not sure, but it seems like the petals and the tongue closest to the bottom are slightly out of focus (although that could by my tired old eyes).

Well, :razz: to you, too. :biggrin: I like it a little better with the bottom cropped off a touch, but it is still a beautiful shot with great color and light. Too bad these are done. :frown:

Love the composition and the dynamic range in this one Bill.

This was certainly as fine an iris series as I've seen - exceptional study in all regards.

What a great end to a superb series of images Bill! The light glancing the upper portions of the petals is wonderful.
